Which UK medical schools accept GAMSAT?

Every UK programme ACER lists for 2027 entry. Add your sitting and three section scores to see whether the sitting counts and whether you meet any minimum the school publishes. Where a school sets its cut-off each year, we say so and do not guess one.

17 programmes. Add your scores to compare them with the minimums that schools publish. Open a programme to see its rule in the school's words. For 2027 entry, ACER lists March 2025, September 2025, March 2026, September 2026; Ulster also accepts 2023 and 2024 sittings.

How to read the results

Sitting. ACER publishes which sittings UK schools can use. For 2027 entry that is March 2025, September 2025, March 2026, September 2026; Ulster accepts every sitting from March 2023. ACER has not yet published the list for 2028 entry, so the finder does not guess it.

Scores. 6 programmes publish a fixed minimum, and the finder compares your scores with it. For the others it shows the school's own words about how it ranks applicants. Where a school has published thresholds from past years, you can open them as history.

Route. Home and international eligibility comes from ACER's UK page. Schools can add their own conditions, such as degree class.

Which UK medical schools accept GAMSAT for 2027 entry?

ACER lists 15 UK universities: Brunel, Chester, City St George's, Exeter, East Anglia, Keele, Liverpool, Pears Cumbria, Plymouth (medicine and dentistry), St Andrews and Dundee (ScotGEM), Sunderland, Surrey, Swansea, Ulster and Worcester. Each school decides who sits GAMSAT: some use it for all graduates, some for applicants without the usual A levels.

Which GAMSAT sittings count for 2027 entry in the UK?

ACER says only these results can be used to apply in 2026 for a course starting in 2027: March 2025, September 2025, March 2026, September 2026. UK results can be used for two consecutive years. Ulster is the exception: it accepts eight sittings, March 2023 to September 2026.

What GAMSAT score do I need for UK graduate-entry medicine?

Only a few schools publish a fixed minimum. City St George's and Liverpool ask for at least 50 in each section. Sunderland asks for 55 overall with 58 in Section 3, or 58 overall with 55 in Section 3, and no section below 50. Most other schools rank applicants and set the cut-off each year, so there is no number to meet in advance.

Can international students apply to UK graduate-entry medicine with GAMSAT?

ACER says international students are not accepted at present, except for Liverpool's A100, Swansea's A101, Ulster's A101 and Worcester's A101. Check each school's own page for its conditions.

Is meeting the minimum enough to get an interview?

No. A published minimum lets you be considered. Schools then rank applicants, and the cut-off for interview changes every year.
